Within the scope of the Faculty of Fisheries Research and Development Commission events, an event titled "Career Planning for Future Engineers and Engineering Solutions in Fish Health" was held on Wednesday, March 11, at 3:00 PM in our faculty's conference room.

 

 

Within the scope of the Faculty of Fisheries Research and Development Commission events, Dr. Hanane KENNOUCHE delivered a presentation titled "Underwater Cave Biodiversity" on Friday, November 28, 2025, in the Faculty of Fisheries Conference Room.

 

 

Within the scope of the Faculty of Fisheries Research and Development Commission events and presentations for the 7th Türkiye Aquaculture 2025 Seminars, organized by Aqua Life of Türkiye, were held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Faculty of Fisheries Conference Room.

 

 

 

Within the scope of the Faculty of Fisheries Research and Development Commission events, Dr. Atilla ÖZDEMİR delivered a presentation titled "Fisheries Engineer through the Eyes of a Manager" on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM in the Faculty of Fisheries Conference Room.

 

 

Mr. Hasan ACAR, the Deputy Regional Director of the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, participated in the Faculty of Fisheries Research and Development Commission events with his presentation titled "The Relationship Between Meteorology and Aquaculture." Emphasizing the importance of meteorological data for aquaculture in his presentation, ACAR pointed out that alternative species will gain greater significance in the future.

 

Within the scope of the project supported by the FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, a series of presentations were delivered at our faculty on June 15, 2022.

 

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Algeria National Higher School of Marine Sciences and Coastal Management (ENSSMAL) and Akdeniz University, Dr. Lourguioui Hichem visited our university and delivered a presentation titled "Exploring Opportunities of Cooperation in Fisheries Sciences between Akdeniz University and ENSSMAL" on April 18, 2023.

 

Güney Kore Chonnam National University, ICT Fisheries Resource Management Research Institute ile Akdeniz Üniversitesi arasında yapılan uluslararası iş birliği protokolü kapsamında üniversitemizi ziyaret eden Prof. Ho Young SOH 09 Mayıs 2023 tarihinde"Introduction to Fishery Resources Management Research Institute based on ICT" başlıklı bir sunum gerçekleştirilmiştir.

 

 

Ayşe Haruka Oshima Açıkbaş, a PhD candidate at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Japan, delivered a presentation titled "Surveying the biodiversity of a rapidly changing world and what eDNA biomonitoring can and can't do" on July 20, 2023, in our faculty's conference room.
